Disney Day 7

Yes, on the 7th of Christmas (we haven’t told the kids yet that this week was Christmas.. haha… kidding… kind of) we went back to Epcot … It was worth it. But first we let the kids go swimming… then we went for the final day of Magic. I rode Test Track 5 times and most of the kids road it 3-4 times. We did the Around the World thing and watched the fireworks show, IllumiNations which is the best Fireworks display I have ever seen. I took some photos, but I didnt have a tripod, so they’re pretty rough, but you get the picture…. hehe… pun. I’m looking forward to sleeping tomorrow. Right now it’s 1:30am and my shuttle for the airport leaves in 2 hours. yay.

Disney Day 6

For our 6th day of Disney we haeded to DAK and it was mucho el fun-o. We met up with our friend, Brian Isham, AKA Ish, and got to hang out with him the entire day. The kids loved him and we had a great time. Ish works in the DinoLand area of the park, and it was his day off, so we got the VIP treatment. Thanks Ish!!! We had a blast.

Disney - Day 5

Day 5 was Miguel Day for the Armas family. We spent the evening dining with the Mexicans. Haha. The restaurant was amazing, and it was interesting to see the nicest Mexican eatery anyone will ever build … I mean, it’s Disney folks … no one is going to top it. Other than that, we spent about 5 hours between Mission Space and Nemo land. The aquarium was awesome! Oh, and someone beat up our stroller while we were eating, so we had to throw it away. Nice, huh?

Day Cuatro en Disney

Day 4izzle was awesome. Hannah’s First Roller Coaster (Splash Mountain & Thunder Mountain Railroad). Gracie’s First Coaster (Goofy’s Barn Buster). Dinner at Cinderella’s Castle. Laundry until 4am with Kara. No pics of that.

Disney Day 3

Day 3 was tiring - and wet… but still alot of fun. The newest ride proved to be worth the continuous 90-minute wait. We didn’t stand in line, but the fast passes we acquired at 10am gave us quick access at 7pm. But talk about awesome… a 3D spinning ride that has you shooting 3D baseballs, gumballs, and rings at objects on the screen. It was awesome. Also, Kara and I rode the Rockin’ Roller Coaster with Aerosmith and man … it was intense. 60MPH in 2.8 seconds (4.5 G) which is more force than an astronaut feels at launch. Truly awesome

Armas Vaca - Disney Day 2

Day 2 at DW took us to The Magic Kindom and it did not dissapoint. We actually slept in and left around 1pm and still had a very full day. The kids were wide awake when we left the park at 1am but they all pretty much crashed on the 5 minute ride to the resort. Lots of fun!

Disney Day 1

The Armas 6 hit Epcot on our first day here at Disney. I kept the camera in the bag during our flight so video updates will follow for that, but here is the evening (til 1:30am) in pics. I don’t have my flash with me, so don’t criticize these pics… they’re pretty rough. Though the photogs at Disney were all salivating over my D3… hehehh.

The Colbert Family

The Colbert Family

Corey & Somer Colbert lured me out to Lake Fayetteville, which, believe it or not, I had never been to in my 8 years in Northwest Arkansas. A great place to shoot, I’m sure I’ll be back soon. Their son, Gray, was a great sport like his folks as we walked through mud, and trotted down steep hills to get to the perfect spots. As you can tell, we lost Gray’s attention towards the end, but it still made for great pics of him.

The DeJarnatt Family

The DeJarnatt Family

Hal and Kimberly are great friends of ours and asked us to come out to their property in Siloam Springs to snap a few family photos. Talk about gorgeous! With about 15 minutes of daylight the kids did great and this is what we captured.

Armas Family 2009

Armas Family

The family is changing and taking pics once a year is now officially not enough. They’re getting so big, and while I love seeing them grow up, it makes me sad all the same. Thanks to Miguel for taking the photos of Kara and I and the family portrait. Great job as always!
