For the first time in quite some time I actually took a much needed "vacation". This past Thursday and Friday I decided to take my 2 remaining vacation days since I was to lose them January 1. So I had Wednesday afternoon through Tuesday Morning to spend with my family, and my parents who were coming in from Texas for the New Year.

After celebrating a belated Christmas on Friday night we were looking for interesting things to do as a family the whole weekend. At the suggestion of my sister, we decided to take a short drive for a "photo shoot". I had the sudden urge to make a left down a road I take a right on at least 2-3 times per day. About 3 miles down this road, we came upon this great barn that sat no more than 15 yards from the road. It was that perfect worn and weathered red barn that seemed to be abandoned, but was still somewhat sturdy.

Well anyways… I pulled out my camera and took a few pics. Here’s a few ok my lovely wife, Kara… man she’s HOT!
