My Blue-Eyed Angel is 5
Today was an emotional day. My little girl turns 5 years old tonight at 11:41 p.m. I haven’t had much time to recover since my boy turned 7 just a few weeks ago, and my youngest daughter, Gracie, will be 1 year old in just 2 weeks.
Each birthday now is a bit hard, since I know they’re growwing up and I’m beginning to see just how fast time flies. I know we should dwell on the positive, but I can’t help but get sad at the thought of my babies growing up and leaving me some day. They are such a blessing. Thank you Lord for such beautiful gifts. I will treasure every moment.
Happy birthday Sara …

Three Days
Today was a long day, but it was well worth it. Our church is going to be…hmm… not sure how to say it. I don’t want to spoil it- so why don’t you just see what I’ve been working on all day for yourself. It’s no match for Malachi- but hey- I’ll get there.

Ok- so now I’m even more proud. Malachi and I spent about an hour on his Mac tonight, creating his very first website using Apple’s new application called “iWeb”. Check it out at www.samra.tv/malachi.

Well folks–it’s official. Yesterday Malachi made me one of the proudest parents by purchasing his very first Mac. This is his first computer and I was thrilled to hear him say that he wanted his first computer to be an Apple. The boy pays close attention, and when the issue of a Mac being more expensive came up, he assured me that he would rather wait and save up his money so he could have a Mac, than purchasing the 6 month time bombs we have all come to know as Windows PC’s.
I documented the process with the following 5 photos. Take a look. It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I think I’m going to cry folks …
